How You Can Help

Supporting someone with RED-S can be challenging for you as a parent, teammate, partner or friend. First things first, we’d recommend getting to grips with the signs and symptoms so that you can help your athlete find the right support if or when they need it. Not every athlete with RED-S experiences disordered eating or an eating disorder. However, many do and even if they don't, it can be really helpful for members of their support team to learn more.
